Are the guides kept up to date?
Yes. Google's algorithms, Core Web Vitals and WordPress itself change constantly, so guides are revisited and updated as things move. The updated date on each post shows when it was last reviewed, so you know you're reading current advice rather than something from three years ago.
My website is slow, where should I start?
Start with the Page Speed section. It covers Core Web Vitals, image optimisation and caching from first principles, including what PageSpeed Insights is actually measuring and which of its numbers genuinely matter. Most slow WordPress sites can be dramatically improved without touching a line of code.
